Venkatraman has been with Schneider Electric for over 8 years, managing strategic acquisitions viz. Uniflair India and Schneider Electric President Systems (Formerly APW President) and has been successful in transforming both these businesses. In 2014, he took additional responsibility of Enterprise Sales & Business Development for Schneider Electric IT Business. Venkatranan holds the position of Managing Director of Schneider Electric President Systems.

He has over 28 years of experience in the field of Sales, Service and Marketing. Venkatraman has high proficiency in Data Center solutions. He brings a wealth of experience in the field, having evolved business critical solutions for spaces like data centers switch rooms, test laboratories etc., involving products such as Precision ACs, UPS, and Transfer Switches etc. for many years. His portfolio draws on experience in utilities design (which is on the periphery of the DC).
In his prior assignments, he has worked with Voltas Ltd. for 6 years, Emerson Network Power for 11 years where he has successfully handled various responsibilities of sales, service and Business Development of Precision Air Conditioning division at Regional and National level. Venkatraman holds a Mechanical Engineering Degree from Bharatiyar University Chennai, and a Diploma in Marketing Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
